About Dit Da Jow

Sifu Alan Bagley training on the Wing Chun wooden dummy (Muk Yan Jong)

I’m Sifu Alan Bagley, chief instructor at Halesowen Wing Chun. I make our Dit Da Jow and Iron Palm Dit Da Jow by hand in Halesowen.

Dit Da Jow is a traditional herbal preparation from Chinese martial arts culture. The name is usually translated as “fall hit wine”. Our students use ours as an invigorating herbal massage liquid before or after training. It is not a medicine.

The original recipe came down the Ip Man lineage to my Sifu, Shaun Rawcliffe, and then to me. The herbs are steeped in alcohol and the liquid is aged for over 12 months.

All of our products are for external use only. If you have an injury, ongoing pain or a medical condition, please see your GP or pharmacist.
