Why Dit Da Jow / Fall Hit Wine?

Dit Da Jow is a traditional herbal preparation from Chinese martial arts culture, usually translated as ‘fall hit wine’. Our version is an invigorating massage liquid that many of our students like to rub in before or after class.

What Makes Our Formula Special

Ip Man Lineage Recipe
The original recipe came down the Ip Man lineage to my Sifu, Shaun Rawcliffe, and then to me.
Aged for Over 12 Months
Our Dit Da Jow is made by steeping herbs in alcohol and ageing the liquid for over 12 months, a slow, traditional process.
Used by Martial Artists
Used by students at Halesowen Wing Chun and by martial artists in the UK, Europe and the USA.

What It Is

A dark amber herbal liquid with a strong traditional herbal aroma. Massage a small amount into the skin before or after training as part of your routine.
This is a traditional herbal massage liquid, not a medicine. If you have an injury, ongoing pain or a medical condition, please see your GP or pharmacist.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a bottle last?
With regular use around training, most students find a 100ml bottle lasts 2-3 months. Daily users or those using larger amounts may go through it faster.
Can I use this outside martial arts?
It is a general-purpose herbal massage liquid for the skin, so yes, some customers use it after other exercise too. It is not a medicine and I can’t advise on aches or injuries; please see your GP or pharmacist for those.
Is this suitable for children?
It is intended for adults. Keep out of reach of children.
Where is it made?
Ours is made in-house in Halesowen and aged for over 12 months.
Why is ageing important?
Traditionally, makers age jow so the herbs have longer to infuse the liquid. Ours is aged for over 12 months.
